At Sawarne Lumber, quality of product is our guarantee. Our quality control services boast accreditation of the highest standards under the stewardship of our QC Manager, Don Smillie.

Don has been grading lumber since 1978 and throughout his focused career in the forest industry has developed the respect of his peers and our clients alike. Don has been an instructor in both Interior and Coastal WRC grading certification, and is seen as an expert in the industry.

Be it at the Ferndale location, or when working at other remanufacturing facilities, Sawarne Lumber’s QC team has quality down to a science.
